How the program grows

Future Voices Cuba does not bring on educators in advance. They join as volunteers when demand justifies it, supported by the curriculum, platform, and materials that program funding makes possible.

A qualified bilingual educator joins as a volunteer and is trained in the program's method and materials.

What we look for in an educator

Future Voices Cuba educators do more than teach English — they are part of a mission. We look for people who understand what it means for a Cuban child to have access to this language.

Bilingual Spanish-English

High command of spoken and written English. Ability to explain concepts in both languages.

Experience with children or teens

Having worked with students between 9 and 15 years old in formal or informal educational settings.

Comfortable with digital environments

Ability to deliver effective classes through Telegram using audio, image, and PDF materials.

Minimum weekly availability

At least 4 sessions of 45 minutes per week, plus brief preparation and follow-up time.

Genuine understanding of the Cuban context and the value of English access as a tool for freedom and opportunity.
